The Department of Civil Engineering has well equipped laboratories in the fields of Surveying, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Geology and Environmental Engineering,Geo Technical engineering, Highway engineering, concrete technology with basic equipment required for undergraduate courses.To meet the requirements of the industry the students were trained in the usage of total station (survey equipment), and latest software in structural design, AutoCAD etc. The students are also encouraged to attend workshops, conferences etc. and present papers and also for participation in other extracurricular activities like cultural events, NSS, NCC , sports and games etc.

Objective :
The objective of the department is to impart quality education with practical approach and to develop research, innovative skills and confidence levels and make them prepared to face challenges of the industry.
